What will this actually cost us?

Sticker price is the wrong comparison for something that lives on a wall for a decade, so this page adds up the whole thing: the one-off perpetual licence, the hardware, commissioning if you want it, and the optional cloud relay if you want that too. Every number below is taken from the published price list — nothing here is calculated from a figure you cannot go and check.

What would your own site cost?

Describe the building you actually have and the figures below follow it: how many devices, how many rooms, whether you want the cloud dashboard, and what you are paying today. Nothing is sent anywhere — the arithmetic runs in your browser, and the prices it uses are the published ones rather than a quotation dressed up as a total.

How many Multilarm devices? One box or PC driving audio. A single-hall masjid or a one-office school is one. Over how many years? Registered charity or small mosque Unlocks the Charity tier at one device. Hardware you still need to buy Commissioning Cloud Relay Optional, and the only recurring charge. Your schedules run without it. Annual maintenance visit Optional. Software updates, a hardware check and staff refresher training.

What does this calculator deliberately not do?

Three things are missing on purpose, because a calculator that quietly guesses is worse than one that says it does not know. Each of the omissions below would make the total look more precise than the underlying facts are, and a number that is precise and wrong is the one a budget gets built on. They are named rather than estimated:

It does not price your speakers or cabling. Almost every site we work with already has both, and reusing them is most of the saving. If yours does not, that is an electrician’s quote and not ours to invent.
It does not model your staff time. Every vendor’s ROI calculator produces a large number by valuing the hours somebody spends walking to a bell cupboard. The hours are real; the pound figure attached to them is not, and we would rather show you a total you can put in front of a finance officer without defending an assumption you did not make.
It does not inflate the alternatives. The comparison column below uses indicative ranges from the price list, and the point of it is which lines exist — annual licence, vendor callout, endpoint replacement — not the precise numbers.

Figures for the alternatives are indicative ranges for comparison, not quotes — every site differs, and a commercial paging quote that includes cabling is not comparable to one that does not.

What are the honest caveats?

The licence line is genuinely one-off: it does not expire, there is no version cliff, updates are included, and it is never re-invoiced. That is why the five-year and ten-year totals differ only by the recurring lines you chose yourself. What keeps working if we disappear →

Prices are in GBP and are the published list prices. Invoices state any applicable VAT. Multi-site organisations of three sites or more get 25% off each site’s commissioning, which this calculator does not apply — ask and it goes on the quote.

One thing to be clear about: Multilarm is not a certified life-safety system. It is not a fire alarm or a voice-alarm system and must not replace one. Its emergency and mass-notification features are supplementary to your compliant systems.
