Your tier sets everything in a single number — the perpetual licence, the optional cloud price and your support level. A device is one Multilarm box or PC driving audio at your site. The software is the full scheduler on every platform; personal, non-commercial use stays completely free. Prices are set out here; the binding terms are in the licence agreement.

All prices in GBP. The licence is a one-off, perpetual purchase (no renewal); cloud relay is optional and billed monthly or yearly. Every tier includes the full scheduler — Adhan, bells, announcements, multi-zone audio, live PA / push-to-talk, offline neural TTS (Kokoro), MQTT / webhooks / trigger API and emergency-circuit support. Invoices state any applicable VAT. Charity tier: include your registered charity number at purchase; charities needing more than one device get the charity discount applied to the matching tier on the invoice.

Remote control from anywhere

Multilarm is fully functional offline, forever. Cloud Relay adds the remote dashboard, phone-app push, email alerts and live PA over the internet — at the single price shown for your tier in the table above, covering every device in that tier. Set up personally: get in touch, pay by bank transfer or invoice (no card needed), and your login is emailed to you — usually within a working day.

SIP paging — page the building from any desk phone

Dial an extension on the phone system you already have and speak straight through the PA. The announcement is arbitrated like any other — it ducks the radio, and an alarm or emergency broadcast still wins, so a phone call can never cut one off. One-way by design: the caller speaks, the building listens, and the extension can never be used to listen in on a room.

Priced per site, not per person. A mosque with four hundred worshippers has two people who page — charging by congregation would make no sense. The nearest alternative is a dedicated SIP paging adapter at around £450 for the hardware alone, per paging point, before anyone installs it; even our largest tier is under that for a year, with no box to mount, power, patch or replace.

SIP paging requires an active Cloud Relay subscription and is enabled on your account by us. It needs a small companion program alongside Multilarm, downloaded from your account page — it is not part of the standard installer. Settings 76–82 in the configuration reference cover every option. Cancel any time; your schedules and announcements are unaffected.

Professional Installation & Commissioning

A completely separate, optional service — priced on its own, never bundled into your device tier. Our engineer travels anywhere in the UK, connects Multilarm to your existing PA amplifier and bell circuit, configures your timetable and trains your staff. The base fee covers travel and the first box; each additional box wired at the same visit is a flat add-on, so multi-zone sites budget accurately before they book.

How licensing actually works

Three sentences, because licensing pages are usually longer than they need to be:

• A licence covers a number of devices, not a number of users. One device is one installation on one machine. Everybody at the site can use it; how many people log in makes no difference to the price.
• It is one-off and perpetual. You buy the tier once. It does not expire, it does not stop working at a version boundary, and updates are included.
• Nothing phones home to check. The software runs fully offline. The only thing that is billed on an ongoing basis is the optional Cloud Relay, because that is a service someone has to keep running.

“What if you stop existing?” A fair question to ask a small vendor, and it has a factual answer rather than a reassuring one: everything except the optional Cloud Relay keeps working, permanently, because the schedule, the speech and the hardware control all run on the device with no licence check and no expiry. Counting devices: a single-hall masjid or a one-office school is one device. A split-site school with a box in each block is one device per box. If you are not sure, the practical test is how many machines have Multilarm installed and playing audio — spare copies on someone's laptop for editing a configuration do not count.

Moving a licence to replacement hardware is free and expected — the machine will fail eventually and that is not a new purchase. Upgrading a tier later costs the difference, so starting on Solo and growing into Site does not mean paying twice.

Five-year cost of ownership

Sticker price is the wrong comparison, so here is the honest version for a typical single-site deployment, against the two alternatives it usually replaces:

Figures for the alternatives are indicative ranges for comparison, not quotes — every site differs, and a commercial paging quote that includes cabling is not comparable to one that does not. The point of the table is which lines exist at all, not the precise numbers.
